Protection and balancing system for a battery consisting of 4-8 LIFEPO4, LTO, LI-ION cells
balance current 0.4A
complete communication interface, RS485, CAN including support for inverter and MODBUS protocols
it is possible to connect an interface board with RJ45 connectors (RS485,CAN, RS485_1, RS485_2) enabling communication with inverters and parallel BMS
includes BT and heating element control
mobile phone and PC applications available for download https://www.jkbms.com/support/
in the package:
BMS, button, wiring to the cells, cable to the heating element, M6 eyelets according to the number of cells, documentation
The condition for safe operation of a battery composed of LIFEPO4 cells is the use of a suitable BMS (battery management system) which serves for
Battery protection (disconnects the battery in case of undervoltage and overvoltage of any cell)
Battery status monitoring (voltage, charging and discharging currents)
Maximum utilization of battery capacity SOC
Estimating SOH battery status
Informing the user or powered device about the battery status
BMS connection example:
disconnect the connector from the BMS (cable to the battery cells)
connect B- BMS to the negative pole of the battery
connect the individual wires to the batteries
Measure the voltage on each pin of the connector. Measure against the minus (black wire)
you should measure for example: 3.2V,6.4V,9.6V etc...this will verify the correct connection
insert the connector into the BMS (B- must be connected to the negative pole of the battery)
Failure to follow this procedure may cause destruction of the BMS
when disconnecting the BMS, proceed in the opposite way. B- disconnect last
