CARBON fibre tubes wound 0°/90°, plain weave (3k)
Wrapped CFRP round tubes with a high-quality, high-gloss surface made of 3k carbon fibre prepreg in plain weave, clear lacquered. Subjacent layers from unidirectional non-crimp fabric. High-quality epoxy resin matrix.
For technical reasons, a very thin, fine glass fabric is incorporated as a carrier material for the carbon fiber during production. This makes it unsuitable for applications such as CT scans.

Characteristics:
Lightweight, excellent corrosion and heat resistance and electrical conductivity. Very good flexural and hoop stiffness.
After laminating, the wound CFK round tubes are ground (round) to size and then coated.
Tolerances:
Diameter: 0.1 mm
Straightness: deviation not more than 1 mm/m.
These tubes are usually not telescopic or cannot be telescoped without post-processing.
